The Physical Education programme at Finn Valley College is designed to develop students into confident and capable participants across a variety of physical activities. Through engaging and inclusive lessons, the PE department equips students with the skills and knowledge needed to make informed choices about their involvement in physical activity, whether for leisure or competitive sport.
In accordance with the Junior & Senior Cycle Physical Education Curriculum, the PE department has developed a unique, flexible and inclusive programme in accordance with student voice. This programme focuses on developing the knowledge and understanding, skills, capabilities and attributes necessary for mental, emotional, social and physical wellbeing now and in the future.
