Senior Cycle is being redeveloped following a comprehensive review process.
The new curriculum will seek to enhance the educational experience and ensure meaningful learning and achievement in senior cycle for all learners.
Senior Cycle is a two-year programme that aims to provide learners with a broad, balanced education while also offering some specialisation towards a particular career option. Students choose 7 exam subjects and also study PE, SPHE, and Career Guidance.
Students are offered to study the LCVP Programme. This is the established Leaving Certificate with an additional Enterprise Module comprising Enterprise Education and Preparation for the World of Work.
